The Ongoing Practice, Made Visible

For six months, my practice of initiation moves with me into the Peruvian Amazon — into ceremony, stillness, discomfort, devotion and the deeper layers of embodiment that refuse to be rushed. What you encounter here is not a polished account of transformation or a highlight reel of carefully selected moments. It is the practice as it actually unfolds: lived, imperfect, sometimes confronting, sometimes beautiful, and always unfinished.

This is what happens when the work leaves the workshop and enters real life.

No performance. No promised outcome. Just the ongoing practice of becoming.

What I witnessed or was told about their practice, in their own framing:

The Transformative Healing Process of integrative Amazonian Curanderismo. Our work at Los Cielos Peru is centered around the traditional healing work of the Shipibo Tribe. These include clay detoxing, flower and leaf baths, purgatives, ayahuasca ceremony, Kambo (Huni Kuin Traditonal Practice) and Master Plant Dietas. You will be encouraged to help in harvesting and preparing the remedies we use during your retreat.

On what I don't share
Some parts of ceremony are not mine to publish — they belong to the people I sat with, or to agreements made in the room before anything was recorded. Their absence here isn't concealment. It's respect for consent that extends beyond my own.

On timing
Entries in The Journey are sometimes published in real time and sometimes with a delay, once there's been space to reflect rather than perform. Both are noted where relevant.

If something here is unclear or you have questions I'd rather answer directly than have this page read as a formality. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
